Their grandiose beast of a song is certainly one of the most intriguing songs I’ve heard in some time, and there’s something new to hear with every listen....This is an exquisitely captivating video, kooky and wonderful just like the song it’s paired with.
— Fuzzy Logic
Honestly, this is one of the strangest but most compelling songs of the year and it’s taken a few listens but I am now firmly in the ‘this is genius’ camp. If this isn’t in my best tracks of 2019 list at the end of the year then some very special things would have to have happened.
— Listen With Monger
Violet Hum is one experimental animated music video that tackles not only the depths of the human emotions, but also the depths of experimentalism in terms of cinematography.
— Feel The Reel International Film Festival
Really blown away by this ... that’s what I’m looking for - imagination, ambition and the skills and talent to carry it off. Sounding amazing. Quite extraordinary...fascinating stuff
— JOHN KENNEDY - RADIO X (UK)
It is a delirious expedition into the heart of our nearest star, on which we find ourselves with a loved one absorbing its exhilarating heat...The Arthur Brothers have crafted what can only be described as cinematic genius.
— THE REVUE - INDIE MUSIC CONNOISSEURS

There is something quite expansive and dramatic about ‘Flawless’... The Arthur Brothers create an imaginative atmosphere with stirring harmonies, mysterious vocals and a powerful soundtrack
— Beehive Candy
This London-based three-piece’s rumination on distance, remorse and the question “how could I be so cruel?” is agonised and haunting... [Flawless] boasts piano, close harmonies and Gilmour-like guitars.
— MOJO
Ninth is a multi-faceted weaving prism of dark chilling mystery… [with] a tribal drum foundation, western-esque guitars, icy keys… The catchy chant-like chorus stomps its way into your brain… It’s a cinematic track that will have you thumping your chest
— Indie Buddie

About

ArthurBros-080.jpg

The Arthur Brothers began life as a recording project and quickly grew into an artistic alliance centered around the biological brothers Matt and Danny Arthur and the producer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist J. C. Wright. Their music is inspired by a mutual obsession for inventive song-craft and a cross-generational love of classic albums with dramatic, bold and intriguing productions. Driven by a devotion to the recording process and a passionate desire to make a record full of mystery, melody, diversity and depth - the Arthurs and Wright, along with a coterie of talented contributors have been on a long and challenging creative expedition.

Sounds both dark and hopeful… cold pianos and voices that hypnotise you will do the rest
— Dansende Beren
Tenebrous rumbling, tinkling pianos, thunderous tribal drumming, and mantra-like vocals offer us a massive production of a great moving song
— The Girls At The Rock Show
